Dave Franks is a Standards Specialist Engineer within the Aerospace Standards team at SAE Intl. He has over 10 years of diverse experience throughout aviation, starting with an Aerospace Engineering degree from Penn State. At US Airways and American Airlines, he performed takeoff and inflight performance analysis within the Operations Engineering group. He also modeled, tested, and qualified Flight Simulation and Training devices for various business jet models and the UH-72a Lakota for the US Army National Guard. At SAE Intl. he now helps to build consensus solutions that move the mobility industry forward.
